Iritis, Uveitis, Ocular Infections and Other Diseases

Such diseases occur when the immune system attacks part of the eye. It can occur as an isolated disease or the problem in the eye can be associated with a more generalised disease affecting other parts of the body. The most common types of inflammatory eye disease are iritis and scleritis.

We cannot often cure these diseases, but if detected early we can bring them under control and avoid damage to the eye.
